Dear Dad Film Series
The media’s flawed portrayal of Black fatherhood has made it difficult to find Black father stories that are told in an authentic way. So on Fathers Day, Walmart is helping shift the narrative around Black men as fathers and highlighting the importance of their presence within the family and the Black community.
Walmart partnered with emerging Black filmmakers Rodney Rikai, Dior Rodriguez and Jared Malik Royal to present their short films about fatherhood at the American Black Film Festival
