Karan Dang is an executive creative leader with experience driving creative reputation, building and leading large, cross-functional, Integrated and diverse departments at both in-house and out of house agency settings, and delivering business results.. Internationally acclaimed, Karan was ranked #6 in the Top 10 Creative Directors in the world by the Cannes Lions Global Creativity Report 2017 and named to AdAge's 40 Under 40 list in 2021.


Throughout his career, Karan has leveraged his deep expertise in creative storytelling and brand innovation to guide brands through cultural shifts. As the former Head of Creative at The Walt Disney Company and Head of Brand Creative at Walmart, he pioneered innovative creative approaches and engaging storytelling to connect with newer audiences and drive business results.


Karan's groundbreaking campaigns, including the Cannes Lions Integrated and Promo Grand Prix-winning "Boost Your Voice" and the Cannes Grand Prix for Good-winning "Unfairy Tales," have earned him over 100 international, regional, and local awards, such as Cannes Lions, AdAge's Campaign of the Year, Webby's Best Digital Campaign, D&AD Impact Award, and numerous Digital Golds and Silvers.
Committed to driving creative excellence and fostering inclusivity, Karan served as an executive member of BRAVE, Disney's diversity task force, shaping a more inclusive future for the company. Under his leadership, the creative department at Disney achieved over 50% female representation in less than 1.5 years, reflecting his dedication to gender equity.


In the past he led creative transformations at Deutsch and 180LA building world-class digital centers of excellence including creatives, content creators, developers, strategists and designers. Also worked for Fortune 500 brands such as Volkswagen, Sprint, Taco Bell, Target, Dr. Pepper, Miller Lite, Asics, Expedia, University of Phoenix, Boost, Mitsubishi, HSBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and Unilever.
